Armani Hotties: Nadal vs. Ronaldo & Beckham!

Rafael Nadal shows off his toned body for the new campaign with Giorgio Armani -- but he's not the first sports stud to strip for the company's underwear and jeans ads!

Before the tennis hottie showed off his physique, both David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo flaunted their abs (and more!) for Giorgio too.

James Franco prepares for Anne Hathaway wardrobe malfuction in new Oscar promo

The nominees have been announced and we are just over a month away from the 83rd annual Academy Awards ceremony, hosted this year by James Franco and Anne Hathaway. So ABC has started rolling out the promos featuring these young hosts.

We think if this promo is any indication, it should be a fairly fun and entertaining hosting job by the pair. Hathaway is the first female host since Ellen DeGeneres in 2006 and only the third woman to host since 1987 (Whoopi Goldberg being the other one).

Hopefully they'll breathe some youth into the sometimes-boring telecast. Franco, 32, is the youngest host since Goldie Hawn did it in 1976 at the age of 30, while Hathaway becomes the youngest host ever at 28. Most hosts tend to be 40+. We feel pretty confident they will do an excellent job.

The Oscars air live on ABC Sunday, Feb. 27.

Lady Gaga tweets 'Born This Way' lyrics, Little Monsters rejoice

lady-gaga-vegas.jpgLady Gaga sure knows how to hype up an album release.

The pop superstar teased fans today via Twitter saying, "Are you ready for the full lyrics?! Can we trend #bornthiswaylyrics!? It has been in my heart for over a year. I'm so excited to share it."

Approximately 20 minutes later she apparently got her wish, posting "It's #1 worldwide! That was fast! You're so radical! Here you Monsters, this one's for you."

We know that people are excited about this new single and all, but all this teasing is getting a little bit excessive. "Born This Way" the single debuts in February, and the album by the same name will be released in May.

See the full lyrics below. Are you beside yourself with excitement?

MEGAN FOX IN NEW ARMANI ADVERTISEMENT

Showing off her great figure as well as a few tattoos, Megan Fox has hit the web in a new ad for top 10 fashion designer Armani. This follows on the heels of a lingerie shot for the February edition of Vogue. In the Armani ad, she appears wearing tight white jeans, a few tattoos on her back, and little else. The latest celebrity gossip is that she looks a lot like Angelina Jolie.

About her older look-alike, Fox has said in the past, “She always seems otherworldly in her power and her confidence.” But Fox is not above having some old-fashioned real world fun, as she was recently seen at Disney World in Orlando with husband Brian Austin Green, who snapped photos with an iPhone 4.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD DIDN’T GET HERSELF KNOCKED UP!

Carrie UnderwoodCARRIE Underwood isn’t up the duff.

The American Idol alum has deniedStar magazine’s recent report that she and her hockey hunk husband Mike Comrie are expecting their first child together.

A source told the tabloid that Underwood “just learned that she’s two months pregnant.”

But a rep for Carrie insists “she is not pregnant.”

Carrie has previously insisted she’s in no rush to start a family.

“Everybody, like, is on this baby bandwagon, I don’t know what the deal is,” she said last month.

“But I would really like to figure out what it’s like to be married first, and I know he would too.”

“Sometimes I know God laughs at your plans, and says, ‘Nope’,” she added. “But it’s definitely not in ours any time soon. So, no babies.”

Best new fragrances for men ~ 2009-2010 edition

As the “publish” button was pressed for this post, I heard the frantic, desperate opening words of Etta James’ Stop the Wedding swirling in my head: “Wait!…WAIT!

But it was too late…there was no turning back.

Choosing ten men’s fragrances that have been released in the last couple years and deeming them “the best” was difficult. I’ve certainly owned and sampled more than my share of perfumes over the years, and I’ve reached a Perfumed State of Grace (i.e.: I’m jaded), but I’ve certainly not smelled every masculine fragrance released in 2009-2010. Has anyone? (Many of these unsniffed perfumes loom large in my imagination: Miller et Bertaux Om, Christian Dior La Collection Couturier Parfumeur, Honoré des Prés We love NY scents, and The Different Company De Bachmakov.)

My list of best new fragrances for men is personal, and it isn’t categorized with available spots for citrus, chypre, sport, “dressy,” mainstream, or niche perfumes; I’ve simply included what I like. If you can’t believe a certain fragrance is on, or is missing from, the list: GOOD! I’d hate to think I’m predictable.

Please comment if you feel a great fragrance is absent from this list, but if “top 10-type” lists drive you crazy and keep you up at night: “Wait!…WAIT!” … don’t torture yourself by reading mine.

Best New Fragrances for Men

Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza makes me want to get a haircut, wear a tie and stand straight…without making me feel stodgy or “square;” its wonderful citrus aromas lead to pale flower notes (neroli, lily of the valley, rose) and a powdery “white amber” and musk finish.

Atelier Cologne Trèfle Pur is a sprightly, sunny-warm scent that feels “alive” on my skin; it always makes me happy with its bitter orange, moss and unusual “clover” aromas.

Byredo Bal d’Afrique is tangy and a bit “hot and bothered”; I love its lemon, floral-herbal, vetiver and musky wood-amber notes.

Comme des Garçons + Monocle Scent Two: Laurel is an invigorating perfume full of bay laurel (a scent reminiscent of marigold), cedar and peppery frankincense.

Costume National Homme is a spicy, interesting wood fragrance, so beautifully blended even my bête noire, cinnamon, is pleasing.

John Varvatos Artisan presents a lustrous citrus-rich floral fragrance for men — I really like the mix of pungent fruit, orange blossom, Indianmurraya, and belambre; I prefer this, the “original,” to Artisan Black.

L’Artisan Traversée du Bosphore surprised me. I’m not attracted to many gourmande fragrances but this sheer “diet” pistachio scent won me over. I think of it as the sorbet version of sticky, heavy Turkish sweets, flavored with nuts, rose essence, fruit (and yes, the pâtissier has a cigarette dangling from his mouth adding a bit of tobacco scent to the dessert experience).

Le Labo Oud 27 is my favorite oud fragrance; its mix of saffron, wood-incense notes and oud is powerful and, if smelled up close, startling. The oud note is given an off-center presentation — not too smooth, not too slick; it had an edge.

Marc Jacobs Bang is one of my favorite men’s fragrances of 2010…mainstream or niche. I love its peppery “tingle”…pepper so intense and fresh it has a floral character.

Nasomatto Black Afgano is a semi-sweet, semi-smoky “liqueur-incense-tobacco” fragrance; its rich notes blend perfectly with cold weather to produce a feeling of well-being — and it brings back good memories of all the pipe smokers I’ve known.
